What is a Fusible Resistor?
A fusible resistor called a wire-wound resistor. We use it when the power rating of the fuse resistor exceeded and burns. We always connect this fuse resistor in series with the major power supply in the circuit.
This fusible resistor used in the circuit operates high voltage with small or lower current such as 100ma, 250ma. A fusible resistor can pass the pulse of a high voltage of 500v without failure. But it must be fuse without flames when 100v short circuit overloads.
